About Us
Thank you for your interest in our beautiful labs! My name is Audrey and I run Legendary Labs of Caliornia. Dixie was our first lab in 2014. Although I have been a dog lover my whole life, I had never owned a lab. We were in search for the perfect companion for my son and I knew that a Labrador would be the best choice because of their temperament and easy train-ability. We chose Dixie because of her hunting and champion linage I knew she would be easily trained. She also had the appropriate health tests, a great personality, and was a beautiful dog overall! I fell in love with the breed and now offer quality, OFA health tested AKC Labrador Retriever Puppies with similar standards. In addition to our dogs participating in fun activities, they also have access to an acre in our yard to roam but live and sleep in our home. I have been a Labrador breeder for approximately six years and I
have mentors who have helped me along the way which has given me many years of experience and knowledge. I am a California native, and we recently relocated back to California! Formerly, we were Legendary Labs of Texas and were located in Central Texas. Because we do not produce a large number of litters, we ensure our puppies have the utmost care and attention. You will not meet a breeder who loves and cares for her dogs more than I do. I focus on health testing the parents of the puppies, and although it is impossible to guarantee a dog will never come across a health problem, the health testing I do significantly minimizes the chance of genetic and inherited diseases. My goal is to send my puppies to their life long loving homes, whether this be family pets, service dogs, or working dogs. I consider myself a hobby breeder because I have had a full time career in management and have worked in the Biotechnology industry for over 10 years. Other than loving Labradors, all animals, and being a tech geek, I also enjoy the outdoors, exercising, and spending time with my family and friends.
